The idea for Urban Tastes was born when the owner was living in Australia. Already an avid cook and collector of cookbooks, her friends came to her and asked her if she would like to cook a few weeks’ worth of meals for them when they brought their new baby home from the hospital. From there, the idea evolved into what is now Urban Tastes.

Urban Tastes’ priority is to provide its customers with high-quality meals. We think it’s important to provide you with fresh, seasonal ingredients. We also try to provide as many organic and local ingredients as possible. While not everything we use is organic or local, we are making every effort to increase the use of these ingredients in the coming months and years. In addition to great ingredients, most of our containers are made from sugarcane and are renewable, sustainable, compostable and biodegradable. We think we’ve covered our bases with this product!

Each week the menu changes to eliminate any chance of boredom for our customers. We choose menus from a variety of cuisines, so we hope that there is something for everyone.
The menus we provide are thoughtfully planned to include vegetarians and those that don’t
eat red meat.
