Toddler Room

My daughter will be two in a couple months so I've been making a plan for her new room.  As you can see, I'm not going for anything too feminine.  It's a very small space so I'm going to do white walls (they're currently a slightly insane salmon color that I painted it when it was our family office).  I've rethought the Benjamin Moore paint and am now planning on doing milk paint in similar colors.  I really like the texture of milk paint on walls.  It looks a bit stucco-y.  I've been looking for a bed for her at estate sales.  So far I've had no luck.  I envision a Jenny Lind-style twin bed for the space.  I also really like old wrought iron beds quite a bit but I don't see them much so don't think that will be too likely.   She has what's currently a white dresser that I'll use to add some color to the room-I think I'm going to go bold with that one and  paint it an orangey-coral color. While I was looking for sheets, I found this awesome store Unison that I had never heard of before.  I've always been a lover of stripes so this store is right up my alley.  It's a bit on the pricey side so I probably won't go all out with the pillows too but I plan on doing something similar.  Now that I have a seamstress, having something similar made would be pretty easy though I really do like that stitch pillow.  The print is a fabric that I'd like to eventually have made into curtains.  I'll also be searching for a very narrow table--10 inches or less to use as a bedside table.  I think I'm going to have to get creative with that one. Anyway, I hope to follow-up in a few months with the finished room.
