Seeking: A contract-based, seasonal assistant to help with  staging and de-staging, running errands and keeping the inventory organized.  Ideally, the candidate will be available for some paid training in late July and early August.

Additionally, I am looking for someone to help out on occasion for a more long-term period.  During quieter times of the year, I might not need help at all during the week, but at other times it could be closer to 10 hours a week, increasing again to the above description in the spring (April-June).  Ideally, the person would be available for last minute jobs as well.  The job description is the same for both opportunities and could be the same person.

Hours / Days: Seasonal job from August 27 through September 28th.  Monday through Friday 10-3.

Job Description:  This is a very physically demanding job.  A lot of the work will be packing things up, moving boxes and often lots of stair climbing.  A smaller fraction of it will be decorating.  You must be timely, detail-oriented and organized. Interest in interior design or staging a plus but not necessary.   You'll also need to have a vehicle as the location will vary and may not always be public-transport accessible.  Most jobs will be in DC but occasionally there may be one in Maryland or Virginia.

Compensation: $16/hr

To apply:  send resume

Starts: Training starts immediately but the bulk of the work will not begin until late August (see above)
